FAQ
Answers to your most common questions
Q How many sea days are there?
12 of the 17 nights are at sea. This is a transpacific voyage — sea days are the main event, with time to enjoy the ship's full range of activities, shows, dining, and relaxation.
Q What happens when we cross the International Date Line?
Time advances 24 hours — you essentially 'lose' a day on the calendar. The ship handles this automatically, and the crew will explain the transition.
Q Is this a one-way cruise? How do I get home?
Yes, this is one-way from Honolulu to Sydney. You'll need to arrange flights separately — fly to Honolulu before the cruise and fly home from Sydney after arrival.
Q Will I get seasick crossing the Pacific?
Anthem of the Seas is a large, modern ship with excellent stabilizers. The South Pacific is generally calm, but some open-ocean swells are possible. Bring motion sickness remedies just in case.
