Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Lowest price - Most affordable Oasis Class
  • 2020 renovation - Updated amenities, doesn’t feel old
  • New dining - Playmakers, El Loco Fresh
  • Central Park - Signature Oasis Class experience

Cons

  • No Ultimate Abyss - Missing one marquee attraction vs Harmony
  • 2010 ship - Older base design
  • Some crowded areas - Pool deck improved but still compact

Common Itineraries

  • Galveston (Texas) departures - Year-round homeport
    • Western Caribbean 7-night
    • Mexico 4-5 night
  • Seasonal repositioning

Ingrid’s Take

Allure is the best choice for “wanting Oasis Class experience on a budget.” The 2020 renovation brought it back to life, and the new Playmakers and El Loco Fresh are popular additions.

While it lacks the Ultimate Abyss slide, the Oasis Class essentials — Central Park, AquaTheater, carousel — are all here.

My advice: If you’re near Texas (Galveston departures), Allure is the obvious choice. If the slide matters to you, spend a bit more for Harmony.
